Gadi Melcer's Running the Marathon
Since the horrific events of October 7th, 2023 and the onset of the war in Israel, countless families have been left shattered, resulting in the displacement of 70,000 people, and leaving many children orphaned, traumatised, and without a home.
Emunah is a remarkable charity that supports these vulnerable children and families, and has long been a pillar of care and hope in Israel. Emunah runs children’s homes, therapy centres, and educational programs that provide essential support to those facing unimaginable hardship. In the aftermath of this crisis, their work has become even more critical, offering a lifeline to children impacted by the conflict.
I am proud to be running the 2025 London Marathon, raising as much as possible to ensure that Emunah can continue the vital work they do and achieve their mission—giving these affected children and their families the care, safety, and healing they so desperately need.
