Lady J Family Support and Day Care Centre
Opened in March 2001 in Akko – the much needed facility is a haven for the children who come from the most financially and socially deprived areas of Israel.
For these children and their parents, vital counselling and therapeutic support will help them cope with their daily lives and the hardships they may face. This centre is the last resource provided to families before children may be taken from them and placed into care.
"You've saved our daughters" were the words of an emotional mother, speaking at a moving Beit Weinstein graduation ceremony. "She was in pieces, you didn't give up on her. Words are insufficient to express thanks and appreciation"

‘Multi-Purpose’ Centres
British Emunah supports two multi-purpose centres and this provision supports the whole family. There will be a social worker attached to the centre who will work with ‘at risk’ children and their parents. Practical parenting skills are taught and counselling is available.
