Join us to hear from Omer Yaacobi, a resilient 25-year-old from Israel, survived the Nova Festival and immediately returned to active duty, witnessing and enduring the horrors of war firsthand.

Omer was raised in a small town in the north part of Israel along with his parents and 4 sisters. At 18, he joined the Israeli Defense Force, serving as a combat fighter in a special unit where he trained, served and protected his country for 3 years. After completing his military service, Omer spent 3 years traveling the world, exploring different countries and cultures before returning to Israel to celebrate his birthday and to begin studying electrical engineering at Tel Aviv university.

On the night of October 6th he came to celebrate his birthday with friends in the Nova music festival. What started as a happy event and ended as a horrific massacre by the terror organization Hamas, where terrorists broke into Israel territory and brutally murdered more than 1200 people, 364 of them were celebrating in the festival.

By sharing his real and raw experiences, Omer aims to convey the profound human suffering of war and inspire strength and unity.
